A shot from my photoshoot at A-kon 23 with Ashley. I decided to combine two of my favorite things- lolita and My Little Pony- and came up with this frilly interpretation of Rarity! Wearing it was an absolute rush of euphoria.

I'm truly amazed. This is one of the best Rarities I have ever seen!
There are so many negligent, almost naked Rarities showing off their bodies and looking like bitchy whores (hehe, horses) that I am so glad to see you making a pretty, frilly diva-Rarity!

Thank you, darling! I agree that some Rarity cosplayers miss the point of the character. Yes, she's glamorous, but she's the embodiment of kindness and generosity- not shallowness and bitchiness. I'm so flattered that you like my interpretation! Good luck with your cosplay. :)
